#FashionFix: Danielle Romeril has coveted spot at LFW
London Fashion Week loves Danielle Romeril! The amazing Irish designer, Danielle Romeril, has secured one of the coveted spots at London Fashion Week. She’ll be showcasing her SS16 designs at peak time on Sunday. Danielle graduated from the Royal College of Art in London after successfully completing an MA in Womenswear. She then went on to work with the likes of Alberta Ferretti and Sharon Wauchob before starting her own label in 2012. She has now been chosen for the notorious British Fashion Council’s NEWGEN programme which singles out emerging talent and is sponsored by Topshop. Former NEWGEN participants have been Alexander McQueen, Boudicca, Matthew Williamson, Julien Macdonald, and Simone Rocha. A number of other fantastically fashionable things are occurring this year with British designer Dame Zandra Rhodes kicking things off on September 18th and Anthony Vaccarello presenting his first runway show for Versus Versace. Vaccarello was named creative director of the brand back in January. Also former Mulberry designer, Emma Hill, is scheduled to debut her accessories line, Hill & Friends.
