Autumn Winter Key Trend: Luxurious Layers

Brrr, winter is well and truly here. As temperatures begin to plummet, we need to adjust our wardrobes accordingly. Jean Paul Gaultier, Antonio Marras, Andrew GN, and Alexander McQueen depicted luxurious layers in a creative, alternative fashion from high-end to knitwear. Watch above to get some layering inspiration.  Thankfully we have so many amazing boutiques on hand to keep us cosy through the chillier months. When the mercury drops many of us clammer to throw on the layers, but layering up can be quite bothersome at times. Especially when you’re out shopping and you find yourself overheating but unable to de-robe due to the sheer amount of layers you have on. We called into the gorgeous Jenny’s Boutique in Ashbourne & Lola Rose in Kilkenny to try on some of their breathtaking AW15 stock for layering this season. Here are our favourite looks from these stunning boutiques.

The embellished detail in the shirt collar can make any outfit subtly stand out, while the shearling gilet completes this layered look with glamorous sophistication.
