Italian Fashion: Florence & its details

Its time to broaden your horizons, literally. Many say that travel broadens our mind. And if you have spent seven million hours in a queue, waiting on a delayed Ryanair flight, then you will grasp the mind altering effects seeing the world can actually have. They say going abroad can also help jump start your own style too. See what I did there? It wasn’t funny was it? Comical stereotypes aside, heading off to some of the worlds most stylish cities can help you gain some sweet wardrobe moves that you wouldn’t have learnt from your couch while watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians. And with only a few holiday a year, there is not a lot of time for the amount of ground you should be covering. Ever heard of the term Pitti Peacock? You best get acquainted, you are in for one heck of a ride. These guys attend every one of Florence’s biannual menswear showcases and to show everyone they mean business, they mix and match tailoring like its child’s play. You could say that these guys are the masters of playful personal expression. You wouldn’t be wrong to be honest. The Florentine men hake it their job to mix bold colours, textures and accessories. However, they don’t do any of this without paying close attention to how each of these best fit together. Many would try to create a look around one piece, but the men of Florence think the whole outfit is better than sum of its parts. Look to their level of accessories expertise and see what you can achieve with your own suit separates. However, practice does make perfect so don’t come after me if it doesn’t work the first couple of times. However, do go ahead and Google ‘Pitti Style’ and get some inspiration for yourself. Ps.
