Korean beauty trend: Holographic glass nails
The most recent beauty trend to come from Korea is the “glass” nail art trend. Created by Korean celebrity manicurist and owner of Unistella Salon in Seoul, Eunkyung Park, who is also famous for creating negative space nails. This pretty trend involves placing segments of cellophane on the nails, which reflect light the way diamonds do. Park creats transfixing nail designs that include jewel tones with a iridescent, mirror like finish. The beauty of this trend is that because cellophane is transparent and holographic, it beautifully reflects the undertones of your chosen shade. This luxe nail trend may not be the easiest to replicate, so thankfully Park has teamed up with Korean beauty company Amorepacific to create nail stickers which give off the same reflective and mesmerising effect.
