Base For your foundation, you want to find a shade without pinky undertones. Ensure that you go for yellow based foundations as this will eliminate any redness on the face. Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Even Finish Foundation is a perfect foundation that covers redness and perfects the skin, as mentioned before, ensure you go for a yellow based shade, like “Porecelain”.  If you like the tanned look but have pale skin, don’t opt for a foundation in a darker tone, just use bronzer or blusher to warm the face up. If you have freckles, don’t cover them up and instead embrace them! Go for a more light sheer foundation like Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation in “Light Vanilla” or “Vanilla”. This will make your skin look dewy and youthful! For blusher go for rich corals, apricot or peachy undertones as this will compliment your hair! The key is to have a light touch when applying. Some blushers to opt for are, Nars‘ “Torrid” (coral with shimmer), “Orgasm” (peachy pink with shimmer), Luster (sheer golden apricot) and Maybelline’s Fit Me Blush in Medium Coral.     Eyes No longer is eye makeup for redheads restricted to the colour green! Also, people presume that black eyeliner looks to harsh on those with red hair, which is not true! A black classic cat-eye looks fabulously striking on redheads. Emma Stone is particularly fond of this look and always looks amazing! However, if you want to create a more natural look, use a brown eyeliner. Warm eyeshadows, like brown, rust, gold and bronze look great on redheads and manage to blend harmoniously with the special features of redheads. Don’t shy away from smokey eyes, however instead of reaching for black eyeshadow, opt for browns, gold and greys! MAC have an amazing selection of eyeshadows in the brown/bronzy realm, some examples of ones suited for redheads are:  “Woodwinked”, “Bronze” and “Romp”. Plums and cranberries also suit redheads, just ensure you start with a sparse amount then  build on it. Try MAC‘s “Bold and Brazen”, “Cranberry” and “Coppering” and “Plum Dressing”.     Lips Don’t be afraid of colour! Red lipstick looks great and polished on red heads, as long as the rest of the makeup is understated! When choosing your red lipstick, ensure you choose ones with brown undertones as this will warm up and compliment your skin and hair. Try MAC lipstick in “Russian Red”. Peach or coral lipsticks also look amazing on redheads. They help to illuminate fair skin and pick up soft tones in the hair. A gorgeous peach lipstick is MAC’s “Kinda Sexy”, in fact this shade is universal in that its suits almost every skin tone!
