The return of Alexander McQueen to London Fashion Week was the hotly anticipated moment of the season, and it didn’t disappoint. Creative Director Sarah Burton succeeded in creating a dark dreamy collection to a surrealistic backdrop portraying the blurred lines between beauty and vanity.
House of HollandAs always, Henry Holland got us in the mood for Saturday night with his eclectic, funky AW16 collection. Holland mixed decades together bringing together the twenties and the seventies in his latest showcase. He stated after the show “They were two of the greatest party decades and during our research, we saw that a lot of groupies in the Seventies were wearing vintage pieces from the Twenties, so it made sense.”
Jasper Conran:The internationally renowned Jasper Conran displayed the highest standards of quality and design from his AW16 collection. It was all about block, bold colours and symmetrical prints.
