Room and Brooklyn battle it out for Best Film in the IFTAs

The hugely popular smash hit film ‘Room’ leads the way in IFTA nominations, another flick raking up an impressive number of nominations is Brooklyn. It appears this year’s IFTAs will be a cliff hanger. Just over 500 Irish Academy Members placed their votes and the results are in (check out the list below).  We cannot wait to see what our favourite celebs will be sporting on the red carpet. We think that white and the 70’s trend will feature heavily. The star studded event will take place in Dublin on the 9th of April – the likes of Liam Neeson and President Michael D Higgins will also be in attendance on the evening.
