A fashion blogger’s life in Dublin: Sarah Hanrahan

Sarah Hanrahan Fashion blogger Dublin
Irish fashion blogger, Sarah Hanrahan (icomeundone), tells us her favourite places all around Dublin: I grew up in Dublin with a strong passion for discovery which has been the beginning & end of my proudest conquests to date.
After spending time traveling the world & working abroad I returned to Ireland; my love for our country stronger than ever. Starting a fashion blog soon after has afforded me some amazing experiences to date and, a great insight into Dublin’s fashion industry.
I balance blogging in between working full time as a detox nurse for the homeless community and trying to maintain some sort of a social life with my long suffering friends (sleep clearly isn’t getting a look in!) It’s a busy life that I’ve created in this brilliant little city of ours but, a great one… here are some of the things that make Dublin the perfect home to me:

After hearing endless positive reports about Kilkenny’s shop I couldn’t contain my excitement when Folkster finally hit Dublin town.
They’re my go-to for boho chic pieces and the perfect items to solve every ‘but, I have nothing to wear!’ dilemma. I love how effortless their collections are, leaving me wanting every.single.thing. on the shop’s rails!

Nine Crows
This shop never fails to make me want to toss that minimal look to the side and don some clashing prints, stone washed denim and a shell suit.
The curators of Nine Crows have a brilliant eye in sourcing those ‘out there but wearable’ pieces from years gone by as well as some brilliant new pieces. The popularity of this store has me in a constant fear that I’m missing out on that perfect vintage find (clothes FOMO, if you will).

The Fumbally
I find myself spending even more time in The Fumbally since I moved to Dublin 8 a few months ago. I’ve always loved this spot so having it on my doorstep is a real pleasure; local, healthy and in a great open space… what more could a girl want?

Canal Bank Cafe
I firmly believe in the institution of brunch. It has become a weekend tradition for Sean and I.Only having every second weekend off work makes them that little bit more special to me and there’s no better way to kick off a weekend of fun than a (slightly) boozy Saturday afternoon brunch. The Canal Bank Cafe always hits the mark if your looking for decadence served with a lethal margarita.

Peruke & Periwig
I don’t know how to fully express my love for this establishment, In an attempt to do so I will say the following; I would be here nearly every day of the week if I could afford it. Peruke and Periwig’s  cocktails are second to none and it’s the first place I think of when someone suggests cocktails. Divine.
