By day she commands her world, by night she inspires fantasy’This look is all about a sexy, strong smoky eye worn with the ultimate flawless nude base; finished with a subtle, natural, beautiful sheen on the lips. To recreate this look, see Pat McGrath’s tips below. 1. Base: Work a medium coverage foundation into the skin like you would moisturiser. This creates a flawless, nude base and perfect translucent finish. Next, use concealer to cover any blemishes and hide dark circles. Finally for the base, you need to add warmth to the face. To do this, highlight/strobe using a sweep of gold toned shadow across the tops of the cheekbones. 2. Eyes: Use a kohl pencil in black and brown to create the shape, by lining across the upper lids and lower, then using a charcoal shade, blend seamlessly for a diffused effect. To create extra allure, use a layer of black shimmer gel-shadow on top. finish with a slick of black mascara on the top and bottom lashes, for volumised lashes. 3. Lips: As you want the focus to be on your eyes, keep the lips beautifully sheer and natural. Simply add a small amount of clear lip balm and a touch of concealer to pale out any redness in the lips.
