Why you should use exfoliating pads
We are OBSESSED with exfoliating pads and here’s why..
We all know that exfoliating is an important part of our skin care regimen, and one that can easily be over looked. Exfoliating is crucial for targeting dry skin, clogged pores, blackheads etc., but actually doing said skincare ritual can seem like a bit of a chore.. That’s where exfoliating pads come in. Apart from being crucial and effective, exfoliating pads are extremely convenient as the pads are already soaked in exfoliating treatment. So, basically a quick swipe and your skin is exfoliated!
Exfoliating pads include a type of acid in them, which magically helps to treat dry skin and lock in moisture simultaneously, but how? The exfoliant treatment on the pad gently breaks down dead cells, causing them to flake off, which is good as it stops the pores from clogging, which can in turn cause spots and dry skin. This acid also encourages natural oil production in the skin, which can only happen, once the skin’s surface is clear of clogged pores and dry skin.
It’s best to use exfoliating pads after you double cleanse. Just swipe the exfoliating pad across your skin, then after a minute or so, apply your usual moisturiser or serum/oil. You shouldn’t need to use exfoliating pads daily, try them a few times a week or maybe every other day to see which suits your skin best.
